A Night for Flesh and Roses

4/26/24:

More full build for my thesis show! Still a lot I wish I could fit in but did what I could with my busy schedule.  I'd appreciate any comments/reflections or bugs you find, the endings (as there are multiple) got a bit rushed but it is what it is.

10/8/23: new build! it isn't very different narrative wise but the mechanics are working a bit better and I've added a little bit + changed some graphics. Summer was a lot and I had surgery and have been very busy but from this point on it's going to be new content added! Thank you to everyone's positive words about my current work in progress!!!

Things to note:

10/8/23: Rotations on body parts is working! however found a new bug that i don't think i can change because of ren'py's hard coding is that layering of pieces will reset to their original order in the layered stack rather than the new raised position. This doesn't impact their spatial orientation, but is a bit annoying (it is what it is and if I do a mechanic  like this again it's not gonna be ren'py)

occasionally, the character animations may become unsynced from their transparent layer mask, this usually goes away by the time the next animation loads or can reset if you go back a couple passages and then forward to reload the animation

A Night for Flesh and Roses is a visual novel where you find yourself in a strange, organic, body-horror castle full of people who are similarly freaks. In this far future, augmenting and changing the body is so normalized that most look unrecognizable as human. In addition, the body is constantly in flux, allowing people to change their form at will including you. Learn about this strange place while also having sexual tension with a cast of weirdos (affectionately)!
